Overview

“My name is SHANNA ARMSTRONG, and I am a world champion endurance sports athlete. It has taken years of committing myself to grueling training schedules for me to reach  the athletic heights that I have reached   As I progress through my athletic career I am looking beyond the challenges that I face in my racing and toward the even greater challenge of inspiring the youth of today to excel beyond their wildest dreams.  My childhood was fraught with difficulty and I know that, as a teenager, I could never have guessed that I would achieve as much as I have.  But I managed to overcome my difficulties and went on to accomplish a great deal and now I would like to be instrumental in inspiring young people to realize their capabilities and the possibilities in front of them.”

Bio

Shanna was born, grew up, and currently lives  in Lubbock, Texas.  After a turbulent youth, Shanna found triathlon and endurance racing in early adulthood and quickly shot to prominence in her disciplines.
